Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua Greet President, Claudia Sheinbaum, for her Inauguration

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela welcomed and congratulated President Claudia Sheinbaum on her official inauguration of the government of the United Mexican States.

President Nicolas Maduro, in his congratulations, congratulated his predecessor Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on his work and recalled the historic friendship between Venezuela and Mexico.
“Today marks a new milestone in the political project carried forward in a first phase that is strengthened with the swearing-in and inauguration of the president, Claudia Sheinbaum,” said Maduro through Telegram.
He assured that both governments will continue “to work and fight for a society of a common world, in this new era of multipolarity and profound change”.
“Congratulations on behalf of the people of Bolivar, and Chavez for our deep history of brotherhood and solidarity,” added Nicolas Maduro.
For his part, the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yvan Gil, who attended the inauguration of President Sheinbaum, stated in his Telegram:
“It was an honour to attend the swearing-in of the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, to whom we wish a prosperous term for the Mexican people. We are confident that, under your leadership, Mexico will remain a beacon of sovereignty and unity in Latin America.”
Congratulations from Cuba and Nicaragua
Cuba and Nicaragua joined Venezuela in congratulating President Sheinbaum on her position this Tuesday.
The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, attended the inauguration of the Head of State and additionally wrote in his X account, “We dialogue with Claudia Sheinbaum, to whom we reiterate our congratulations on behalf of the people and government of Cuba, and we also wish him many successes in the construction of the second floor of the Fourth Transformation of public life in Mexico.
For his part, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and his wife, Vice President Rosario Murillo, greeted the incumbent President Sheinbaum in a statement.
In the letter, Managua expressed, “With the affection, respect and recognition of the women, families, people and government of our blessed, sovereign and always free Nicaragua, we greet you on this day of your inauguration as the first woman president of that fraternal and close Mexico”.
We reiterate our admiration to you, the Mexican brothers, in the Paths of Brotherhood and Harmony that we propose for the world, where all countries agree to demand Peace and Rights for our peoples, the statement quotes.
